What did I just say??

Landon is cutting some teeth so he pretty much puts everything in his mouth (I'm sure you all remember the picture of him going after Kiersten's feet.) Well out of all the things he likes to bite on, fingers are his favorite. Not his own of course, I didn't raise no fool. Anyone who's holding him is at risk of falling victim to the baby barracuda jaws chomping down. My fingers have all sorts of bruises and red marks to prove it. My dad told me the other day, "Just don't let him put your fingers in your mouth." He makes it sound so simple. When you are a multitasking stay-at-home mom, while holding the baby sometimes you don't realize your fingers have ended up in the baby barracuda's mouth. And before you know it, you get chomped on! I'm pretty used to it, but sometimes he gets me so good that it makes me yelp. Well today that happened. He bit me at the bottom of my nail bed on my thumb and I yelled out, "FUDGE KNUCKLE!!!" (I"m sure it was followed by a, "Son of a ...") Then I stopped and thought, what did I just say?? In all that pain the first thing I thought to say was fudge knuckle?? After my thumb stopped throbbing I had to laugh.
A couple little side notes:
Julie- So glad you can comment now!!! You seriously need to blog so you can post pics of that beautiful baby! Come to the dark side!
Erin- I tried to put up a cute background and almost had it. But when I previewed it, my links and stuff were gone. You'll have to tell me how to do that.

3 days feels like forever...

I am so lonely! Frankie is in Napa until late tomorrow night. He was The Palm's top wine seller (#1 baby!!!) again this year so he left early Friday morning for Napa. The top three sellers get to go along with a manager for a weekend of wine tasting at a bunch of different wineries, lots of gourmet food, bocce ball and I'm sure other really cool stuff that I'll hear about tomorrow night. It's nice that they get to do that. He learns a lot about the wines so he can sell, sell, sell and know what he's talking about. He totally deserves it too. He busts his butt every night at work. A lot of waiters want to leave early so he picks up late tables every night and is always the last one to leave. He always gives 100% to every table and the customers just love him. I hope he enjoys himself. I have to give a shout out to my man!!! Love you babe!!! I hate being home alone though. It's weird sleeping in bed alone. So I decided to invite a guy "friend" over to snuggle with. Just kidding!!! I bet I got your attention though!!! HAHAHA!!! Of course today Landon was SO irritable (damn teething!) and Bradley wanted to test my patience. It's like they know I don't have my back up. But I survived. I keep telling myself that I'm going to get to bed before 3, which seems to be when I get to bed every night.
I hope all the bloggers read this. First of all, I don't know how all of you can write so much and still be able to comment. I spend so much time reading blogs and (trying to) comment on them that I don't have the energy to write my own blog. I really don't know how you all do it. I know I'm not a slow reader, so don't talk smack, Tyler. I actually would like to blog about some stuff (I never feel like I have anything to blog about) but I've already been on here for an hour and a half and it's just not going to happen.
I'm looking forward to the camp out next week. We won't actually be staying over night. We will be up on Friday, and maybe Saturday. I'll see y'all there!

You know I love pics

All of you know I love to post pictures so here's a bunch more for you.

About 2 weeks ago Dustin, Tyler, and I all met at Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch. ( Landon and Kiersten were there too.) It was nice to have lunch with my bro's. They always make me laugh, even when the joke is on me! Hopefully we'll do it again soon.
Tyler was holding Landon, letting him check out Kiersten.

Landon was trying to put her feet in his mouth. We're not sure if he thought they were his own feet, or he thought hers looked yummy. Either way, the look on Kiersten's face is priceless and Tyler was getting quite a kick out of it.
Last week Frankie and I took Landon to The Palm for lunch to show him off. Landon ate his first 5 lb. lobster. Haha!

We went to a birthday party last Saturday and both my boys were sporting mohawks. They are so punk rock.
Last Sunday when we went to my mom's for dinner Leah and the girls (with Scott in tow) rode their bikes over. We still hadn't taught Bradley how to ride a 2 wheeler. I know, I know. He's 6 six and we should've taught him by now, but it just never happened. After dinner all the kids ran out front to ride. Leah came in from checking on them and asked, "Did you say Bradley doesn't know how to ride a 2 wheeler?" Ashamed, I said, "Yeah." She said, "Well, he does now!" So I ran out there with my camera. I guess Karley decided to teach him!!! That's right folks, Karley taught Bradley how to ride a 2 wheeler! I think it worked out for the best because I know he would've been a tough student for us, but for Karley, no way. And he picked it up quite quickly. (Being 6 probably had a lot to do with that.) Mad props to Karley!
Obviously that's Paige's super sweet pink bike that Bradley's riding.

Look at him go! Yeah baby!
His cousins love to hold him, and he loves it too!

Leah took Landon for a spin and put him right to sleep while doing figure 8's. The seat belt was choking him as he leaned forward sleeping, so I took him out before he turned blue.

Here's Madison modeling the baby toys. She's our very own Vanna White.

Karley took Dustin's bike for a spin. She rode it like a pro. She's so crazy!

While we were outside Dustin shaved Scott's head and now he's got a real mohawk. Is that cute or what?!?

Since Bradley's knee's were hitting the handle bar on the bike he has (probably another reason we hadn't taught him to ride minus training wheels) we had to get him a new one. (Why couldn't he have learned a little closer to Christmas?? Haha!) So we surprised him with a new one when he came home from school today. Yes, we took off those training wheels. So now he has a super sweet green Mongoose to ride on.

He wasn't excited at all. And Landon was just happy to see his brother.

The sunlight wouldn't let us take a good picture of him riding it, so this is the best we could do.

Tonight we all went to Claim Jumper (minus Leah, who had to wait for her dad to get out of surgery on his hand so she could drive him home. We missed you girl, fo' reals!) for my mom's birthday. Here's a pic with all the grandchildren with the birthday girl, well, Landon's hiding behind Madison. And I love how Tyler thought that leaning back like that would get him out of the picture!!! Haha!!! We had a good time and one more time- HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!

Here's Dustin saying,"WooWoo!" wearing Scott's rad conductor hat! All aboard the cool guy train!

Mom was the only one ready for this shot, looking cute as ever! Check out that million dollar smile! I guess my dad was too busy with Landon and Ty and Christina were doing some sort of team work action back there.

Bradley, Frankie, Kevin, and Riley looking super cute.

Hammin' it up with Grandpa.

Trying to attack my camera.

When we got home from our lovely Claim Jumper dinner, I put some pieces of a Granny Smith apple in there for him to chew on. He would make a sour face and go back for more! Too funny!

See he really liked it! Don't let the sour face fool you!!!
Hope you all enjoyed the pics. And if you didn't, you suck! Haha!

Post full of Pics

On Saturday morning Leah called me up and said I better get up to Mt. Charleston where they were camping. So I packed up the boys (minus Frankie. He had to work and was bummed he couldn't go) and headed up. It 's only about a 40 minute drive from my house. We had lots of fun chatting while all the kids played.

This is one of Landon's teething faces. Although I couldn't hear it, I bet he was grinding his teeth. Yikes!

Tyler, this one's for you. Scott willingly took this Yankee hat and proudly wore it around. What now??
We had to retreat to Dustin and Leah's tent while we waited for a thunder and lightning storm to pass. It wasn't so bad, except for one flash and crack that was a little too close (I thought). I turned to Leah and said, "Do you think we should get in our cars?" And she responded, "If we get struck by lightning it was meant to be." Haha. Not the way I want to go.
Bradley and Paige just chillin' while we waited for the storm to pass.

Bradley on the rope swing that he enjoyed so much.

Bradley in motion.

Paige proudly showing off her stick with her name on it. It was her 5th birthday that day. I still can't believe she's that old.

Aunt Leah holding my little chunk.

Scotty looking so cute with his big eyes.

I love it when he has his hoodie on.

This was the highlight for me. I always said Dustin was a monkey. He just climbed right up there like an island boy getting a coconut. You really can't tell how high up he was in this picture, but it was high.

This one gives you a better idea of how high he was. I would've gotten a better shot but I had to hurry and take the picture because the tree was starting to bend and he wanted to get down. He's crazy!

Uncle Dustin was cracking Landon up.
I headed home that night and Bradley got to stay and sleep in the girls' tent with them. He loved it! Thanks Dustin and Leah for having him. It was a very fun trip. It's so nice to escape the heat and go relax up there. Madison and Karley were there too, but I guess I never got a picture of them. Darn it.
We celebrated Paige's 5th birthday on Sunday and of course I took more pictures.
Landon getting loose with his teething ring while Paige opened her gifts.

Just irresistible.

Paige modeling the new outfit we bought her. What a babe!
I hope you all enjoyed the pictures.
